Class 5

We are currently reading 'Jack No Name' by Melaina Faranda; this is historical fiction and we are learning a lot about life in the Medieval period.

We have a busy term ahead of us, including work on Space in Science lessons and the Anglo-Saxons in History.

Class 5 children have taken on many responsibilities for the year ahead, including roles in the Leading Lights liturgy group, School Council,  Safe School Ambassadors, School Games Organisers, Fruit Monitors and Good Buddies.

It was great to visit our friends at St Lawrence Academy in Scunthorpe to learn more about other faiths.

We really enjoyed working with Ann Neale from CAFOD, who helped us to explore where our water comes from and why we should preserve it.

We took part in the Lincolnshire Show Schools' Challenge, achieving 2nd Place for our work on promoting local produce.
