The last meeting of the Friends of St Norbert's took place on 16th January 2018

The Friends of St Norbert's supported several events during the autumn term:  Harvest Festival, Christmas Bingo, Christmas performances, the Sparkly Disco and Christmas card designs.  All events were well attended and enjoyed by all who participated.

During the next few months there will be an Easter Bingo, Easter Egg decorating competition, a Beetle Drive, the annual Summer Fayre and finishing with the leavers' disco.  The events continue to be well supported with past and present parents volunteering.

The Friends of St Norbert's were asked to contribute to the school hall refurbishment by contributing £2000, which was supported, enabling the school to obtain a grant from the Wind Farm to provide new flooring, hall redecoration, resources for clubs plus a new piano!  The PTA have also funded a whole school pottery session, Speech and Drama festival entries and will support Crucial Crew visits this term. Following last year's Wind in the Willows performance for all pupils, Alice in Wonderland will be performed by a drama company before Easter.

The school term will end with a treat day for all of the children where bouncy castles and ice creams will be provided.

At the Annual General Meeting in October 2017 it was reported that a total of £6307.27 had been taken from events in the last year and £2915.15 expenses were paid out. The group funded £2717.69 for activities for the children resulting in net profit  of £674.43.

The next meeting will be on April 24th at 7.30pm. Come along and join us!
