Mrs P M A Tonge
"To live, love and learn in the footprints of Jesus."
We have a very happy school community and a fantastic team of children, parents, staff and governors who will always welcome you and make you feel part of our family. Although our school is smaller than average, with around 120 children from 3 to 11, we have big ideas!
We know that each child is special and we provide plenty of opportunities for every child to excel.
Please come and see for yourself - we welcome visitors and we are sure that you will like what you see!
Ofsted 2019 states that parents are 'delighted with the standard of education their children receive' and 'Pupils care for others, and their positive difference as citizens is a strength of the school'.
'The quality of teaching, learning and assessment has improved since the last inspection.'
The school's work in developing its Catholic ethos and pupils' good character shines through pupils' conduct and behaviour.'
We have been awarded Gold Rights Respecting School Award again! Congratulations and thanks to all involved!
Many successes - Lincolnshire Show prize for Class 5; Big Bang prize for Class 4, both for looking after our environment. Our Rights Respecting School Award Gold assessment demonstrated the great capability and understanding of our pupils to work for the needs of others. The Art and Science exhibition, open to the public, was a wonderful display.
St Norbert's Feast Day and family afternoon tea, with entertainment by the pupils, was a wonderful celebration. Thanks to the PTA and also for their Summer Fayre organisation!
First Holy Communion was also celebrated in June. Thanks Father Neil!
The Music Festival allowed our talented singers and musicians to be acknowledged with a string of certificates and trophies. Congratulations to all involved!
Our Ofsted was a great success: 'over the last three years, the progress pupils make across KS2 has improved considerably.'
'The standard of written work that pupils produce is high; pupils have a competent and increasing level of mathematical fluency.'
'The standard of writing in religious education is particularly high.'
The Speech and Drama Festival showed our pupils' flair for poetry, drama and bible reading.
