Who are the Governors and what do they do?
The Governors of St Norbert’s are here to help you have the best experience for your child. Our mission statement ‘To live, love and learn in the footprints of Jesus’ is at the heart of all we do. Governors make important decisions to improve standards and to enhance the happiness and well-being of all our school community. Our Governors regularly work in school and meet frequently to continue to improve all aspects of school life.
In the light of our first OFSTED inspection as St Norbert’s Catholic Primary Voluntary Academy, which found our school to be good overall, with outstanding pupil behaviour, the Chair of Governors and the Governing Body would like to congratulate and thank all members of Staff for their hard work and dedication ensuring our pupils have the opportunity to reach their full potential and are happy, well-rounded students with strong morals and great manners.
The students of the school are to be commended for being ‘excellent ambassadors for the school’ by promoting, as the inspectors noted, ‘highly principled values of honesty, trust and the right to be respected and respect others’. Well done to all concerned!
